Founded by Nethuki Wickramasuriya, the Heart and Hunger Project was born out of a deep compassion for stray dogs and individuals struggling in Sri Lanka. Witnessing the harsh realities of hunger and neglect firsthand, this initiative began as a heartfelt mission to provide food, care, and hope to those in need, striving to make a tangible difference in the lives of both humans and animals facing adversity.
